Capitalizing credentials
The credential designation following a person's name is almost always an acronym for the name of the credential. Treat it like an acronym and capitalize as required. Some credentials acronyms and abbreviations contain upper and lower case letters; use the preferred abbreviation of the issuing organization.
Do not use periods between the letters of the credential abbreviation unless used by the issuing organization.
